MCALLEN (KFXV) — As we reported– On May 14, 43 people were injured and 9 died in a bus crash near Laredo. A legal battle over compensation to the injured and families of those who died continues. According to an article published in The Monitor, attorneys reached a settlement of a little over 3.5 million dollars that will only compensate four of the families of those who died and two of those injured. The article also claims 10 lawsuits on behalf of 17 people injured and seven deceased are still pending.
