Motorcycle Crash Shuts Down ‘I’ Road Exit

A motorcyclist is in the hospital following a collision with a pickup truck earlier today in the city of Pharr.

Authorities say the rider of a black motorcycle merged onto the fast lane off Frontage at around 11 a.m., slamming into a GMC Sierra.

The “I” Road exit was closed, as Pharr police transported the biker to a local hospital.

Fox 2 cameras were rolling at the moment another vehicle on the freeway lost control and spun 180 degrees.

That driver was able to drive off avoiding an accident.

We’re told the motorcyclist was not wearing a helmet.

His condition is unknown.

No one is facing charged at this time.
