A McAllen woman pleads guilty to receiving more than $3,000 in Medicaid kickbacks.

Medical assistant, 57 year-old Argentina Cavazos is accused of selling patient names and numbers to Martha Lidia Flores, a home health marketer. Flores then allegedly used that information to fill out fraudulent referral forms, compensating Cavazos with the illegal proceeds.

Cavazos is scheduled to be sentenced in October.
