The victim of an auto pedestrian in Alamo is seeking justice as he continues to recover from the injuries he sustained during the accident.
39 year old Santiago Tapia suffered serious injuries to his head and left leg after he was struck by the driver of a Chevrolet GMC Astro van Saturday afternoon near El Gato Road and Village Circle, north of the city of Alamo.
We’re told the driver fled the scene after the auto pedestrian accident and is being sought by police. Tapia, who was wheelchair bound at the time of the incident suffered injuries to his face, and a broken tibia.
The victim is asking the public for help to locate the driver and bring him to justice. Tapia is also asking for a new wheelchair, since his was damaged during the accident.
