Several law enforcement agencies surrounded a Pharr neighborhood as they searched for a suspect fleeing from justice.

The search for a wanted felon this afternoon brought local, state and federal law enforcement agencies to a neighborhood near gardenia street and Hall Acres road in Pharr.

U.S. Marshals were executing an arrest warrant for a suspect who has been evading police for at least three months.

Officers from the San Juan police department and U.S. border patrol agents assisted U.S. Marshals in the search for the suspect which finally came to an end early this evening.

We were told that the suspect has been previously arrested, but authorities were not able to release his identity or details of his criminal history as the investigation continues to unfold.

Still police are not releasing the suspect’s name or the type of charges he will face until he is taken before a judge for an arraignment. That could happen as early as tomorrow.
