A 46-year-old man is arrested after allegedly stabbing a person and fleeing the scene.
The incident happened at the intersection of San Eduardo Avenue and Farragut Street back in May of this year.
According to the police report, officers found the victim bleeding from the back, upper chest area and arm. During the investigation, authorities identified the suspect as Roberto Gonzalez. He was arrested in Starr County and is now facing charges of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
“We don’t have the details as far as what led to the stabbing. The only thing we know is that there was an altercation between the males and from there it led to the stabbing of the victim.”
In this case, the victim who has not been identified, survived.
