An immigrant rescued from a human stash house in mission, speaks out about the ordeal.
Authorities granted media access to the detainees in order to hear testimony about their deplorable living conditions.

This is the harsh reality for those who fall in the hands of human smugglers. This undocumented immigrant who we will name “Yolanda”, says she suffered greatly throughout her journey to the United States.
“Yolanda” is a single mother of two. She left her country of Honduras to seek a better future. A dream that was cut short after authorities raided the apartment complex 6800 block Bentsen Palm in Mission Tuesday.
Now that the ordeal is over, she looks forward to a new beginning.

After paying $7,000 to come to the U.S, she is now at the border patrol detention center facing deportation.
