The Hidalgo County sheriff’s office former chief of staff, Pat Medina is scheduled for sentencing this week.

Medina is facing three years in federal prison and-or a 250 thousand dollar fine after admitting to knowing about and not reporting former sheriff Lupe Treviño taking bribes.

She resigned from her post in March and is now scheduled for sentencing this upcoming Wednesday morning before U.S. district court judge Ricardo Hinojosa.

We’re told judge Hinojosa will not be allowing live updates on Twitter or other social media platforms during the hearing.
