HARLINGEN (KFXV) — On Monday, a Harlingen man received a 60 year sentence for continuous sexual abuse of a child.

According to authorities, 27-year-old, Kevin Kaster received 60 years for the charge, and 20 years for indecency with a child. Both sentences are to be served concurrently.
The Cameron County District Attorney’s office child abuse unit collaborated with the Rio Grande Valley Child Exploitation Investigations Task Force, and the U.S. Attorney’s office to arrest, and prosecute Kaster. Authorities discovered Kaster downloaded child pornography, which led to them discovering a victim known to Kaster.
