Weslaco DPS arrest a driver after seizing roughly a ton of marijuana from the tractor-trailer he was driving.

The semi truck was spotted by Troopers heading north on Highway 281 and FM 2812 and stopped for a traffic violation when the officer discovered 80 bundles and marijuana concealed inside boxes. The find was almost 2,000 pounds and are worth more than 11 million dollars.

The driver Juan Carlos Sandoval Martinez of Houston is arrested and booked into the Hidalgo County Jail on drug charges.
