MISSION – Officials are looking for an armed robber who stole jewelry from a pawn shop.

The robber had a mask at the time he went inside the pawn shop. Officials say no one called the police when they saw him.

According to the Mission Police Department, the suspect then went on to break a display glass, reaching for jewelry.

“He broke the glass to one of display cases and broke the jewelry. When the employees heard what happened they yelled out to them and and he took out a gun and took of running,” said Chief Robert Dominguez, Mission police department.

The robbery happened on the 1100 block of north Conway. The suspect went inside the business with a mask and no one did anything to stop him.

“He went through the store wearing this mask and gloves before anyone ever did anything,” says Dominguez.

Officials don’t know the value of the stolen merchandise and the incident is under investigation.

Officials are trying to identify this individual.
