Brownsville (KFXV) — A man dies, pinned in his car after a three car collision.

Near the 400 block of Boca Chica Boulevard around 8 yesterday evening. The driver of a white truck — identified as 23-year-old, Marving A Resendiz Zumaya, allegedly drove against traffic and struck a Ford Ranger driven by a 79 year old man head on. The elderly man pronounced dead at the scene. Zumaya fled, but minutes later, police apprehended him. The driver of the third vehicle was treated for minor injuries. Witnesses placed Zumaya at the scene, and described his driving as erratic. He received a charge of criminal negligent homicide and accident involving death.
