It was a passerby who noticed the body early in the morning, lying just next to a busy street with no signs of foul play.
A stranger driving in the dark around 4 am, noticed the body of a person believed to be in their early 20’s laying on a sidewalk at the 1100 block of El Dora St.
The woman was not carrying an id but is being described as thin, 5’0” and weighing about 100 lbs., dressed in black, wearing a nose ring and a black and pink cross.
After arriving to the scene, justice of the peace Bobby Contreras pronounced the death and tells us off-camera that the woman showed no evidence of trauma or physical injury, however authorities are not ruling out a possible homicide.
Neighbors in the area tell us they hadn’t heard or seen anything unusual overnight. They believe the body could have simply been dumped out in the open but authorities are waiting to confirm information once autopsy results are in.
