HARLINGEN (KFXV) — Police continue searching for a missing lawyer. It’s been three days since his family last heard from him. 62-year-old, Ernesto Gonzales was to meet his sister outside his law firm, but Gonzales never showed up. Harlingen police asking the community to help find Ernesto Gonzales after his sister reported not being able to contact him. They were to meet at his office in the 1600 block of South “F” Street. McAllen Fire Leaves 15 Without A Home

MCALLEN (KFXV) — An apartment complex caught on fire this afternoon, displacing more than 15 people. At the scene, the top of the apartment complex was completely destroyed and residents are scared now that more than 15 people no longer have a home. Melinda Guillen is one of the residents that lost her home due to the fire. According to authorities, the fire initiated around 2pm where one apartment caught ablaze and then quickly spread to 11 more units. Police Find Drunk Driver With Cocaine

EDINBURG (KFXV) — Police arrested one man for allegedly driving while intoxicated. According to a criminal complaint filed by the Edinburg Police Department, an officer stopped the driver of a vehicle — later identified as Juan Eduardo Garcia of Rio Grande City — for running a red light. The officer saw Garcia exhibiting symptoms of intoxication — and Garcia admitted to having at least one beer. Police arrested Garcia — who refused a breathalyzer test. SAN BENITO (KFXV) — New details emerge in the investigation against their police chief regarding the legality of his privately recorded conversations. An investigation determines Police Chief Michael Galvan did not violate any law stemming from hundreds of privately recorded conversations. According to San Benito Mayor Ben Gomez’ comment to the Brownsville Herald – an outside law enforcement agency cleared police chief Michael Galvan of any wrongdoings in connection to his privately recorded conversations.
