Concert fans angry as hyped Bahamas festival is canceled

MIAMI (AP) — Organizers of a much-hyped music festival in the Bahamas canceled the weekend event at the last minute Friday after many people had already arrived and spent thousands of dollars on tickets and travel. Fyre Festival organizers announced the cancellation of what they previously billed as a "once-in-a-lifetime" concert along the lines of the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival in Southern California. FBI Agents Raid Edinburg Medical Office

Edinburg (KFXV) – Federal agent’s latest raid is a medical office in Edinburg. The Center for Arthritis and Osteoporosis at the 2600 block of Cornerstone Boulevard was shut down early this morning. A number of police unit as well as a number of unmarked vehicles and a moving truck were on scene. Federal agents were seen escorting employees out of the building, and several people arriving at the clinic were also turned away. McAllen Police Arrest Two for Credit Card Abuse

McAllen (KFXV) – According to the McAllen Police Department, officers responded to a pawn shop on the 2300 block of Expressway 83 on April 7th where an employee claimed a male subject, later identified as Saul Israel Garza, attempted to use a cloned credit card. Police arrested Garza,who initially provided a false name, and charged him with credit card abuse. Officials later linked Patricia Garcia to the crime and arrested her for credit card abuse. ‘Sgt. Pepper’ sketch to be auctioned May 20 in New York

BY HILLEL ITALIE NEW YORK (AP) — An old sketch up for auction May 20 at the Hard Rock Cafe in Manhattan is a crude, ink-on-paper drawing of the iconic “Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club” album cover. The artist is almost surely John Lennon. The significance is another story.
