Pharr (KFXV) —  CBP officers intercept nearly 5 million dollars in meth-amphetamines -this in two separate incidents at the Pharr International Bridge,.
The first happened when a tractor/trailer hauling a commercial shipment of jalapeños was discovered with 240 packages containing approximately 132 pounds of methamphetamine with an estimated street value of over 2.6 million dollars .

The second interception happened with another tractor trailer hauling a shipment of cucumbers.
194 packages containing approximately 107 pounds of the stuff were discovered with an estimated street value of over 2.1 million dollars.

Both cases remain under investigation by Homeland Security.
